The Cold Season Starts

At the beginning of the season it is natural for some workers to get bored of their alpine surroundings and look for pastures new. Most of them head back to England but some stay and change colours.
For more years than I can remember Rob Stephenson has worn the black and white (black and orange if your old school) jacket of Scott Dunn. After taking last winter off I thought he was gone for good until I saw him back in his SDS outfit this year. But after two days (a record for the resort) he had quit. After doing a favour for a couple of nice Russian gentlemen, they 'made him an offer he couldn't refuse'. Reminiscent of the days of 'Kim' Philby, the Cambridge four and the cold war, comrade 'Red' Rob has defected to the east (geographically speaking slightly higher up the resort) behind the iron curtain or to be precise net curtains and iron security shutters.
He can be currently found chauffeuring around the dons in a bullet proof Renault traffic.
