Injuries of the week 3

Well now that training and set up have finished and lift passes have been handed out this is when the skiing related injured start.
Here are a couple, in no particular order.
Just before I went to press last week I spotted Adam(NBV) who used to work in the Hotel Croisette last season. Adam was sporting a very nice piece of Pepin designed and fitted, metal rod re-enforced, fibreglass jewellery. Strike one victim of the first run Verdun fall jinx! New Solarium's Jenny(Crystal) had a similar coming together at the bottom of the slope and is now wrapped up in plaster.
Earlier this week I met Lizzie(Thompson) in White stuff. My first impression was she had gone ten rounds with Mike Tyson - and won. After a quick chat I found out her cuts and bruises were the product of skiing and snowboarding or should I say the product of skiing, snowboarding, gravity and the rough icy slopes.
And finally: For the next few weeks it is unlikely you'll see Paul(Jump) without his hat on. After a nasty fall and contact with a concrete step Paul is now hiding a long line of Moutier hospital finest needlework on his head.
