Missing enquirers

Every Saturday after franticly writing the Enquirer I set off on a circuit of Courchevel 1850 delivering the paper to a set number of locations with special laminated beer proof copies going to the bars. When everything has quietened down I make another circuit to all the bars with addition copies of the paper.
On many occasions in the Jump bar I am asked where the latest enquirer is. I usually pass such questions to the bar staff who usually have the copy behind the bar. On the odd instance when it wasn't there it was easy to blame some light fingered thieving little scumbag of a chalet boy.
But this week the absence of the paper from the Jump was more a managerial decision, who after reading the cover story immediately filed it in the bin in an attempt to censor the readership in the bar. An object in futility as I usually give out extra copies to whom ever asks for one. The only result being, well everyone knows the result.
