Congratulations to
Steve Dunsire, Sophie(TJ's), Mikie(Gringos), Martina(Inghams) and Ollie(Gringos) or as they were know for the first La Tania dual slalom competition, the Bar Bitches. With their unique mixture of skiing styles and their very unique interpretation of the rules they saw off all comers including White Stuff from Meribel(2nd) and NBV(3rd).
With the help of The Mountain centre,
Natives.co.uk, The Ski lodge in La Tania and not to mention the man upstairs who kept the weather sweet the day went off very smoothly. In a Derbyless, Freerideless season it is nice to see a competition that is open to all levels and all styles of snowrider and is more focused on fun rather than metalwork.
Also congratulations to Rosy who collected nearly 1000francs from donations on the day for the GSN. A special thanks to the person who put in a Spanish 5ptsa coin, glad to see charity isnÃt dead.
