Injury of the week, nay month, nay season, nay decade - Courchevel Enquirer
The reason why I shouldn't write about myself is my lack of ability to stay objective. On Wednesday while skiing in the Natives workers challenge over in Meribel I had a little tumble 'on the last run of the day'.
It's always strange when ever someone talks about a skiing accident they always say it was the last run of the day. Of course it was! You wouldn't be able to ski properly after the accident. It's like saying my keys as always in the last place I look. Anyway I digress.
Looking back it all went wrong on the third last gate of the course. I missed the line and went into the next gate too tight which got me out of shape for the last gate which I clipped, spinning me into the crash barriers of the finishing line. After being detangled it was left to Nurse Clare (Jen) to correctly diagnose the onset of shock and the complete loss of colour in my face that something was fundamentaly wrong and return me home where the true extent of my injuries was realised by the amazing english physios.
