The season might only have just started and there might be only be one green piste open but that hasn't stopped people from throwing themselves to the ground quicker than you can say ìwear wrist guardsî.
Before the slopes were even open
Vern(TJ's) and Ben(L'equipe) were trading blows. Such was the violence of this fight that the resulting bruise on Benës eye needed a magnifying glass in order to see it.
Dan(Jump) become the first victim of the dreaded Verdons couloir, face planting after catching an edge.
The most impressive injury this week goes to
Lucy(Jump) who while enibriated tried to climb the long snow cannon outside
Kalico. After, impressively, climbing the first few meters and realising that metal, when exposed to sub-zero temperatures, itself gets very cold decided to slide down the pipe and headbut the metal base cutting open her eyebrow.
Luckily she didn't require stiches.
Finally
Jen(TJ's) can be seen sporting some support on her wrist. She would like everyone to think that this is due to a snowboarding accident. Actually this is a RSI injury caused by the pre-season lack male companionship at night.
