Although there are other bars in
Courchevel we will be focusing on the most popular.
The big news this year is the opening of a new bar in
Courchevel 1850. After a 4 year absence the bar LÃequipe is back. Located in the center of town, where the Smalto restaurant used to be. As well as a bar the LÃequipe has a full kitchen serving everything from a full english breakfast to pizza We also have the amazing TJÃS bar, a massively popular ski/boarding bar in the centre of CVL. For the forth year decorated with a variety of classic ìold schoolî snowboards courtesy of Snow Coco (www.snowcoco.com). ItÃs one of the many homes, of CVLÃS famous theme nights.
GringoÃs is 150 yards up the hill, last year making itself the confirmed choice of the staff of CVL 1850. The seasonnaire workers took it over. Another theme night bar, famous for its 1.5euro flavoured vodka shots and Mutzig (v.strong) beer!! This is the CHEAPEST place to drink on the mountain, so see you there.
The Isbar bar is a great relaxed bar, lots of comfy chairs, a pool table, and table football. Its a nice place to change pace, chat and catch up with other seasonnaires. ItÃs under the hotel Isba, the
Skival hotel, and all are welcome.
We know the prices are expensive in CVL, so what we do is have specials in each of the bars most nights. If you like beer, go to Gringos for the Mutzig! We also do staff prices in all the bars, but donÃt forget to tell them you are a seasonnaire, we canÃt remember everyones name and face.
Throughout the season we organise theme nights, where everyone dresses up, parties and goes mad. We havenÃt decided quite what we will do this season but there will definately be a Back to School night this Tuesday 14th(I have never seen so many school girls in one bar in my life, it was fantastic!!!!) followed by many others including Beach Party, 70Ãs night , Superheros, HBB(hoes, bitches, blingers), and a Bad Taste night.
We have staff ski races, the
Courchevel Valley Rally and the Three Valley Rally all in fancy dress.
These bars are public bars for anyone, but we put a very high value on the mountain staff and try to look after them all the time.
