JFD WMD MIA DUI

Although we managed to fill an entire coach with spectators there were some, the cool ones, who arrived in Chamonix the day before. Primarily to celebrate John Chalets birthday but probably just to have another excuse to get rat arsed. As the evening when on, the drunken banter took a left turn went straight over the roundabout and went in the direction of getting first lifts and hiking to deep powder fields untouched by anther human being.
Instead, and mainly thanks to JFD locking his car keys in his car, the morning was taken up with driving around town, still heavy intoxicated from the night before, past police men while going the wrong way up one way streets while trying to find a locksmith. By the time they had gained access to their ski gear the coach from Courchevel and the rest of the day was devoted to sleeping off the hangover before having to drive back home.
