Before I start this next story I must say I sympathise (not enough not to write about it) with the victim. Driving around a new country can be very daunting.
The first time I drove my car down from the UK to Courchevel I had several 'moments' driving around a late night deserted and foggy Lyon. Eventually I came across a signpost for Chambery and everything was sorted.
