8/10 wealthy Russian football owners prefer TJs

On Tuesday TJ's had an unexpected visitor, in the guise of THE Russian Oligarch and multi billionaire Roman Ambramovich (net worth according to this years Sunday Times Rich List £5,600m). Initially he wanted the entire bar to himself to watch the Arsenal v Manchester United match with some close friends but after seeing the large number of English seasonnaires who also wanted to watch the match he ended up cordoning off the tables around the big screen and allowed the rest of the bar for everyone else. As the final whistle blew to the 0-0 draw Roman briefly posed for photographs with seasonnaires before he was whisked off by his entourage.
Now that TJ's has started to attract a more affluent clientele it can only be a matter of time before the bar changes. A surly bouncer will soon be standing outside to keep the riffraff out. Currently Elliot is on the short list for the role although the constant need to drop his trousers is not working in his favour. And of course then there is the obligatory price hike. A demi will go up from 2.5 to 125 euros, a cocktail from 6 will get you 6 euros change from a 500 note and of course Paul's dry wit will still be complementary. (The wit will be free but not always complementary!).
