After a 3 week absence Wednesday saw the first theme night of 2004. And what a turn out! Teenage mutant ninja turtles as far as the eyes could see, Wall to wall Lara Crofts, a group of Rambos, a handful of Hulks, a gaggle of Wonder women and a couple of smurfs. In the end, although all the photos are available on the website, there can be only one photo on the front page and as I hear cries of conspiracy it was completely arbitrary and no favouritism was shown. If I had the space the unknown
Mark Warner Lara Croft would have been my choice.
Instead she is on the back page. (digging hole I won't be able to get out of) This is nothing against all the other tomb raiders (
Steph,Lou,Sally), if truth be told I was in 'Lara heaven', it was just she was just a little more 'Lara' than the others.
My only criticism was the lack of
Inghams staff out. With the exception on the spiderman clad
Steph I didn't see any other staff dressed up. Best summed up by
Lisa(Inghams) who said they just couldn't be bothered and that itÃs monotonous to do the same thing every night (I thought that why we had theme nights!) Don't forget that the One Valley rally is taking place this Wednesday and if you are not in a team and would like to show your sadistic side I am still looking for checkpoint judges.
