After reading last weeks issue you might of been forgiven for thinking that Ski world were the only ski company in resort.
This week the balance has been redressed not by another ski company but by an independant. Let me introduce you to
Lard (Ski Higher). His third season in resort, originally a plongeur at the Auberge, promoted to hotel manager(because nobody else wanted the job) and now a Ski tech for
Ski Higher. LardÃs current accomodation bears a striking resemblence to a small cupboard and not that big! A fairly major hinderence if you plan to take that special someone back ìto your placeî. Of course you can go to ìtheir placeî only if their roommate is absent or not (depending if they like to watch).
Now
Mouse (Skival 00) had this same problem with her roommate
Gilley(Isba 00) who after being locked out of their room came around the resort asking whether anyone had seen Mouse (Red flag warning that something is going on) .
Now normally this alone would have got Lard into the paper, probably as a story on the back page but...
The next day
Nola(Whitestuff) was the latest visitor to ìPlanet Lardî. So now we have a front page story.... but not enough to make the headline.....
So how did he do it? It seems Lard has decided on a course of ìskiing lessonsî from a certain French ski school based down in le Praz.
