My apologies for the late delivery of today's paper. This is primarily due to the delivery, this morning, of a shiny black box from the clever people of the Sony corporation. Suffice to say very little work will be done over the next couple of weeks.
Wednesday saw a coach load of
Courchevel skiers head off to Chamonix for the 18th edition of the Boss des Bosses, The sixth year which
Courchevel has taken part.
In those 5 years
Courchevel's team has managed to end up with the silverware and, last year, the wooden spoon.
Although our priority has always been for having a good time on and off the piste this year our main concern was to beat at least one team, namely our three valley neighbours, Val Thorens.
But on arriving in L'Argentiere we found that this wasn't possible because Val T hadn't even brought a team. Very poor show.
