Some of you I know and for some of you this is our first meeting.
Let me introduce myself, My name is Alex and last ski season I was given the dubious task of reincarnating a gossip magazine in the unsuspecting French mountain resort of
Courchevel.
So The
Courchevel Enquirer was born.
A newsletter equally divided between Alcohol, Skiing, Clubbing and 'Who's doing what to whom, where?' go ssip, but not necessary in that order! A weekly print run of 20 turned into 40 turned into 45 and a single side turned into two and sometimes four depending on how bad everyone had been! The power of email distributed copies around the globe to a select few, giving them new reason to go to work on Monday morning.
Now, with the new season just around the corner and the only millennium problems that I have to worry about are a) Will my sofa get broken again (see issue 3) at the New years party and b) How I can make the Enquirer better than last year while offending as few people as possible. Following the trend of nearly everything else in our society, the Enquirer is now online. Through out the season you can log onto www.
