After what was generally judged as a rant by me last week I have to say I was wrong about judging all of
Courchevel together. Since then I have found a section of
Courchevel who really know how to make the most of their season. It's in a small place down the road called 1650. There are a couple of bars there and get this. Apparently they even have regular buses that connect to 1850. Guess you learn something new every week.
Anyway enough about them lets talk about 1850. Tuesday 8pm there is a ballon balai de saisonnaires competition at the ice rink. Teams of 5 with at least 2 girls. On Wednesday over in Meribel
Natives are having a seaonnnaire slalom race. Anyone interested in entering should register with Jen in
Ski Higher by Tuesday (itÃs cheaper than just turning up on Wednesday). At 4pm
Kalico, as part of Columbia ride week, are having a rail competition outside the club with parachutists and loads of other extreme stuff going on.
