Day 1 proper of the European Winter X-Games and if the competition is anything like the weather it will be an amazing day.
Great Britianís James Woods, and last years bronze medal winner, will be competing in the Slopestyle elimination this morning. Good Luck Woodsy!

Kaya Turski claims the first of the eight medals up for grab at European X-Games. Scoring 92.66 in the Women Ski Slopestyle on her second run she won her 6th X-Games gold in total. She beat out Anna Segal and Dara Howell in a very close competition. After posting a first round score of 90.66 she was temporarily up staged by a score of 91 from the Australian Anna Segal on her second run.

In the Womenís Snowboard Superpipe final Kelly Clark defended her X-Games title in dominate style. Clark, the first woman to win repeat golds in both Aspen and Tignes, landed a huge frontside 900, backside 540 and a frontside 1080 all in her second run. Elena Hight took the silver with a score of 85.00 and Kaitlyn Farrington earned the bronze with a score of 81.33.
